This project consists of two sub-projects: sub-theme 5(1) Development of Economic Assessment Methods for Impact of Climate Change on the Agricultural Sector and Human Health and Evaluation of Adaptation Options and sub-theme 5(2) Development of Economic Assessment Methods for Impact of Climate Change Related Natural Disasters and Evaluation of Adaptation Options.
Goals
To develop a methodology to economically assess the impacts of climate change, namely, temperature rise, typhoons, and floods, on the agricultural sector, manufacturing sector, human health, and macroeconomy. Using this methodology, we will assess the economic impact of climate change under various climate scenarios.
